I've got the power...plan? Changing your Windows Power Plan.

Howdy Howdy y'all, welcome back. I hope everyone is having a great day. Off chance you're not, I hope your day improves exponentially:)

Today, we will be discussing Windows Power Modes and how to switch between them.

Windows Power Mode, is a mix of hardware and system settings that determines how a device uses the power to get the best system performance and battery life.

Windows OS usually has three different Power Plans, and you may select the one that best fits you: Best Power Efficiency, Best Performance, or Balanced (a balance of power efficiency and performance). Some users' systems will also offer the Ultimate Performance Power Plan, but most standard Windows systems will only display the three plans.

Now, hopefully you have a better understanding of what the Windows Power Mode is. So, let's navigate to your Windows power settings and check what Power Plan your system is currently operating on.

First, let's navigate to the Windows system power options.

We are going to click on the Windows Taskbar Search

Now, search for, Power Plan.

Select, Choose a power plan.

This will open the Windows Power Options. Select your power plan that best suits your needs.

Oh snap! Now you've got the power, not Nintendo Power, but feel free to listen to SNAP!'s 1990 hit, The Power;)

Thanks for checking out this tutorial, appreciate it. I hope you had fun, learned something, and benefitted. Until next time, Stay happy, Stay safe. Byyyeee:)
